lots of land and shore to explore, trails, beaches, bird watching, fishing. arrive 10AM when it opens for day pass ($20 vehicle/ $5 walk or bike-in). 4.6 miles from house.

Kittery's Fort Forster is a perfect place to spend an afternoon. Enjoy hiking, walking and swimming at the beach, exploring the old fort, and a fun playground for children.
