As the name suggests this centrally located covered market is a Victorian shopping mall now serving the shopping needs of locals and tourists alike. Most of the small outlets that work out of the Victorian Market are sole traders and the eclectic mix includes a bagpipe maker, a kilt shop, a chocolatier , a crafts/knitting shop, a model shop and a fresh fish/game shop. It has a unique atmosphere and is definitely worth a visit.

Smaller unique shops in a Victorian precinct setting. Also, Leakeys Bookshop in Inverness in an old converted church and selling lots of lovely old books, Like something from Harry Potter!
