Catch the Alderney Ferry and sit on the top deck for my favourite views of Halifax. Evenings or late afternoons are the best.

Catch the ferry across the harbour from Dartmouth to Halifax for a small cost. Great ride, view and easy parking in Dartmouth at the terminal.

Ferry runs every 15 minutes normally and you can get to Halifax side in 10 mins. You can explore a lot of amazing restaurants in the Halifax side. :)

You can’t come to Dartmouth and not take the ferry to Halifax! It’s beautiful, fun and dare I say romantic!? Even if you’re by yourself it’s seriously awesome! Get dropped off at the Halifax waterfront, the heart of downtown Halifax, then continue the adventure by exploring all Halifax has to offer! It’s a really good time and will be a very memorable experience!!
