Located in Punta Gorda (about 30 minutes away), the Celtic Ray has a great Pub style atmosphere and traditional Irish Food. They also have a great selection of imported beers.

Authentic Irish pub with great food, music, beer and a full bar. This is a local favorite with the best fish & chips in town. My personal favorites are the shepherd's pie, breton chicken, and the Irish soda bread! The Celtic Ray has an amazing history. The owner, Kevin Doyle, is very jovial and always ready with a joke and a smile for you!

This place wins best fish and chips in Florida, and #5 in the whole country. The fish is special cod and the batter is light. Not greasy. Outside feels like a regular outdoor bar. Indoors feels like you're in Ireland. Wonderful selection of beers on tap.
