Although it has been refurbished since its opening in 1924, this restaurant still maintains its bohemian vibe. It’s decorated with artwork that painters gave in exchange for dinners with friends. Some favorites dishes are boneless pig feet stuffed with sausage and pears, oxtail stew, and the mar y montaña—cuttlefish stewed with meatballs.
