A brand-new zoo which is located in Valencia's Turia riverbed, where visitors can immerse in the animals' habitat. It feels more like a safari than a trip to an ordinary zoo.

Bioparc is one of the most interesting zoos that I have visited. They pride themselves in trying their best to recreate the habitat to ensure the animal's welfare. Most regions of the world are represented here. There is this sense that animals are free as they are not in traditional cages. It is worthwhile visiting this zoo with the kids. You can take the bus line 20 from the bus stop in front of Hotel Las Arenas Or Metro Line 6 from the Mediterrani station towards Maritim Serreria and then change to Metro line 6 towards the airport and alight on station Nou de Octubre (9 Octubre) in both cases you wil have to walk another 10 minutes to get there.

This 25-acre zoo in Valencia (30 minutes by train) is designed and managed. It has a large collection of African fauna and is in a lovely setting.
