To really enjoy the Saturdays and Sundays à la Pankow, a short or long walk is a must in this park. Most of the times the walk is liven up by music, mime artists or dancers.

A classical park, once private it was soon opened to the public as the first park in Berlin only for it's citizens. That's where the name comes from: Bürger means citizen.
