Tips from locals
Northwinds Beach is one of the most popular beaches in The Blue Mountains, located just past Craigleith Provincial Park on Highway 26. A sandy & rocky beach is home to many sea kayakers, board surfers and beach lovers alike.
A great swimming spot only a 5-minute drive down the road, awesome spot for a family day. There are rocks for climbing, trees providing shade on the beach and a grassy area for throwing a frisbee around. This is a dog-friendly beach so pets are welcome. Parking is limited therefor I'd suggest…
public beach. If you get there early you can get a nice spot with a picnic bench - it is west most part on the beach.
