Over the border in Maryland on the Chespeake, there are a few wineries. This is our favorite for dry reds. Bring a deck of cards, or just hang out with some friends. During warm weather, there are great views of the Chesapeake. During colder weather, they have a spacious sitting area with large tables. Good sandwiches and charcuterie plates. Gorgeous view of the vineyard going down the hill to the water. Wines only by the bottle during COVID. They do a nice job of socially distancing all tables.

One of our absolutely favorite wineries we've ever been to (a little biased since we were married here this past summer after the pandemic canceled our big wedding!). Every inch of the place is gorgeous---the service, views, and details. You'll feel like you're in Napa Valley at this beautiful establishment. Jim says the Creme Brulee is the BEST!
