Just walk 200 yards from Heart of Windsor Rooms to sample finest ales (including local Windsor & Eton brews), cosy atmosphere and great food, (try the Thai meals).

Local pub two streets away with the best Thai food, cooked by the landlady herself, who is Thai. It's left left and left, two streets down and out of my front door, so very convenient too.

“Grounded pub that serves value for money, good food. On Monday nights it's half price for ladies, on Tuesday nights gentlemen get a free drink with their meal. On all nights it's lovely local pub, and good for women on their own.”

“Cross over the footbridge at Eton and immediately turn left to get onto the Brocas, a large area of open land owned by Eton College. The footpath here takes you along the bank of the Thames for miles. Beautiful any time of year. Make sure you check out the Talking Bridge (under the Brunel railway bridge) and large mural under the Elizabeth Bridge, we commissioned them for London 2012!”
