Considered by many residents of the 7eme to be the finest bakery in Paris, they really excel in baked goods and pre-made dishes. Their house apple cider, tartes and cakes are fantastic!

Delicious baguettes, pains aux raisins, canneles and jams. Two areas : one for breads and another for finer patisseries and cooked take away dishes. The boulangerie is beautiful.

“Our favourite restaurant of all times! Excellent French food, lovely crew. Great classics like onion soup or rarer dishes like bone marrow grilled in the oven, along with more classical recipes for all tastes.”

French Restaurant
“You are now on the corner of Rue du champ du Mars and Rue Cler. The Cafe du Marche' is one of the most popular cafes in the neighborhood, with a covered area outside where you can eat all year round. Get there early, as they do not take reservation; it becomes very crowded especially with the chic people of the quartier. There are a number of daily specials on blackboards, at reasonable prices. It's also a fun place to sit and people watch.”
