Why locals recommend it
This museum has it all – a dinosaur hall, planetarium, IMAX theater, and butterfly exhibit. I’ve always enjoyed the gemstone collection. Parking can be a nightmare since the zoo is close-by. I’d Uber there instead.

This is one of the best Museum in Houston but there are over 20 in the Museum District. In addition, they are either FREE or discounted on Thursdays
