Why locals recommend it
This museum has it all – a dinosaur hall, planetarium, IMAX theater, and butterfly exhibit. I’ve always enjoyed the gemstone collection. Parking can be a nightmare since the zoo is close-by. I’d Uber there instead.

This is an awesome little museum situated in a three story greenhouse, located in the museum district in downtown Houston. It is great for kids with short attention spans.
