A must see and definitely hear! 4 miles - makes for a breezy walk from Higher Walls. The Singing Ringing Tree is a wind powered sound sculpture resembling a tree overlooking Burnley and beyond.

This is an interesting sculpture by Anna Liu and Mike Tonkin up at Crown Point, Burnley. It's a worthy 15 minutes drive to Burnley's Panopticon, a high point which overlooks the town. Park your car up, picnic on a bench, walk along the decked moorland pathway to the sculpture and listen to the music! Nice for kids! Usually a very fresh, bracing walk!

Wind powered sound sculpture in Burnley. Unique, beautiful and haunting.

Great on a windy day! Listen to the tubular bells singing in the wind on top of the hills above Cliviger, just outside Todmorden.
