Die Berliner Philharmonie zählt mit dem Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt zu den wichtigsten Konzertsälen in Berlin. Sie ist die Heimstätte der Berliner Philharmoniker und wurde 1960-63 als erster Bau des Kulturforums nach Entwürfen von Hans Scharoun erbaut.

This is one of Berlin's most memorable buildings and houses of classical music. Built by the famous architect Hans Scharoun, it is also an amazing place to visit, if you are interested in architecture. The place has a very special sthmosphere with its accoustics and design features.
