Tips from locals
While small it's a pretty neat little museum and certainly worth stopping by with the kids if you are on the wharf already.
Most fun for kids but who doesnt like petting sharks and touching sea cucumbers?!
During a rainy day, you can enjoy the history of the sea and wait for the sun. It is situated right next to the sea, so it is perfect!
A fun visit as it's interesting in itself but it is out on the pier where there are several fun restaurants to enjoy. It provides a nice walk and view of the ocean and the local sea and bird life. Don't forget to turn around and enjoy the city and mountain views from the perspective of being on…
See Sea Stars, mini sharks, octopus, & jelly fish. Many options to touch the various ocean critters.
Love this place, and could spend hours here despite the relatively small size. Touch a sand shark, hold a sea cucumber, pull sand up from the ocean floor and put it under a microscope to see what is hiding. Loads of fun. Be warned, the ice cream sold a few doors down is crazy expensive.
