Rock Castle is one of the oldest historic homes in Tennessee. The location is on Old Hickory Lake, it's lovely. They give tours that share about the original family which makes it come alive.

Constructed began in 1784 and the former home of Daniel Smith. You may recognize this home from Miranda Lambert’s “White Liar” music video.

Great place to visit. Historic house by the lake and a family cemetery on the property (with really old headstones) if you're into that kind of thing. Check hours/days of operation before going.
