Close to The Lofty House is a park with hiking and biking trails on Stringer's Ridge. There is also a nice overlook area that looks onto North Chattanooga and the TN River.

Its close, a 10 min. drive across the river. Great fairly easy hiking trails with views, also good for mountain biking.
