Atlantikwall is part of the larger provincial domain Raversyde. You walk through two World Wars in bunkers and trenches. More than 60 bunkers, observation posts and artillery stands, connected by 2 kilometers of open or underground passages, form one of the best preserved parts of the German defense line 'Atlantikwall'. The Atlantikwall cannot be visited by wheelchair users due to the nature of the site. The ATLANTIKWALL in Raversyde is one of the best preserved parts of the German line of defense, with more than sixty bunkers, open and underground corridors, observation posts and guns built during the Second World War. You will also find the only preserved German coastal battery from the First World War, the Aachen Battery. The Flemish room offers a look at some restored collection pieces and an exhibition about the Atlantic Wall and the war on the coast. On the upper floor you can permanently visit "Atlantic Wall" by Stephan Vanfleteren.
