This is one of the best kept secrets in Knoxville. It’s a speakeasy bar located in the alleyway beside the Oliver Hotel. The room is cost and small and the drinks are the absolute best.

This speakeasy library at the Oliver Hotel downtown was established as an "ice-cream saloon" in the mid 1800's by a German cobbler named Peter Kern. Today you can sip handmade cocktails or regional handcrafted beers and enjoy classical literature and the historic decor of the library.

Hip upscale Speakeasy. Entrance in alley with red light. Knock. Located behind Oliver Hotel. Entrance is part of the experience. Try it!
