Be sure to walk behind the Institute to sit and hear waves crashing. If you are adventurous you can walk out to the sea caves and low tide. But you will get wet.
Located just north of the main harbor there is an educational center as well as two gorgeous historical yachts.
Stop by the Ocean Institute to learn about California’s maritime history or go on a whale watching expedition!
Authentic "tall ships" are tied up at the dock. An interesting gift shop and aquarium are on site.
