I am not a carnivore myself, but all my meat-eating friends tell me that if you are looking for good souvlaki downtown, this is the place. They use their own sauce on the meat, instead of tzatziki. Prepare to queue.

i think this is the best souvlaki in town. But you should be there until 14.30 otherwise you will not find it open!it is a very small let say canteen but it has real good souvlaki! Also it is on a big square with a lot of cafes, near monastiraki
