Local favorite - get there early because they don’t take reservations and there is typically a line.

Classic egg and toast place. Hearty omelettes, french toast etc . Back patio. There will be a line on summer weekends, plan on it. I'd suggest getting a really good coffee at Kaffee Vonsolln next door to soothe you while you wait.

A local Portsmouth favorite, and really the best breakfast around. Outstanding Pancakes. You may have to wait for a table, but it is worth it.
