Tiny Javanese-Surinamese restaurant but my favorite in town! If you don't know this cuisine, imagine the perfect mix between Asian and Caribbean food. Try the nasi (fried rice), bami (fried noodles), télo (fried cassava with salty fish), saoto soup (chicken broth with rice and a boiled egg).

Cheap and good Indonesian food: bami (noodles), nasi (fried rice), my favorite: saoto soup!

The best Surinamese roti I've had, this place always delivers. Chicken soup also delicious.

“Kwaku is a Summer festival running on the week-ends from 15 July to 6 August from 14:00 to midnight. Entrance is 5€ (online / 7€ at the door). This Summer festival has a popular and family vibe. There are many tents and stages with music and food from the Caribbean and South America. The perfect street food festival for the Summer!”

“Once in your life you must eat food out of a wall. Go for: kaassoufle(cheese), kalfskroket(veal) and ask for free mustard, satekroket(beef) no mustard on this one, that's weird.”
