Tips from locals
Great museum especially for kids. Very interactive. Usually on Wednesdays between 17:00 - 20:00 it's free admission. Recommended.
Great for kids (1+) as well as grown-ups! The Museum has exhibits that are interesting for all different ages. A perfect place to go if you have kids in various ages as they will find different aspects fascinating but all enjoy the experience.
Very interesting exhibitions and a fenomenal playground in the basement . Very nice surroundings. You also have the Naval museum, ethnographic museum in this area, all with resonable lunch restaurants. The small police museum and Tekniska museet basement are suitable for children 2-10.

“The amusement park Gröna Lund on beautiful Djurgården is really popular, its also really close to the famous Vasa museum. You can take a boat there from Slussen (departs from old town during rebuilding of Slussen). You can also take the subway to Kungsträdgården and then switch to the tram.”
