Tips from locals
Perfect for families with children. Aquarium and fish hatchery. Great exhibits and tours explaining how fish are hatched and released into the gulf.
Marine aquarium, fish hatchery and nature center operated by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
When you want a break from the sun with the kids, this is a must visit. It is free (donations accepted but not asked for), has an indoor aquarium with a touch tank, as well as an outdoor decked trail along the wetlands. This is only minutes away in Lake Jackson.
