About this place
The Macintosh is where executive chef Jeremiah Bacon, a 5-times James Beard semifinalist, merges his exceptional technique-driven fare with locally sourced ingredients. The resulting, modern American cuisine is complemented by a bar program offering local and specialist beers, seasonally-driven cocktails, and a large wine list that spans both old world and new.
Tips from locals
This is my favorite brunch! The Mac Attack is a must try, unique and decadent dish. I typically go with steak and eggs or chicken and waffles. The loaded poutine is a great hangover bandaid.
By design, you won't find too many recommendations on King St., however The Macintosh is an exception. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and stay for dinner. Awesome all-around menu and amazing brunch. You'll love the ambiance
The best staff and local driven menu in Charleston. Favorite place to go any night of the week.
