Car remains the best way to travel the region. International rental companies, such as Sixt (Hermana Dalmatina 8), or national ones, like Oryx (Šetalište Vijeća Europe bb), have branches in Rovinj. If you want to leave Croatia with your car, do not forget to mention it to your rental company at the time of booking or pick-up. A fee may apply. If you intend to use Slovenian highways, we remind you that a vignette (toll sticker) is to be affixed to the windshield of your vehicle. Ask your rental company if your car already has one.
