Great for a quiet walk. Lovely coffee and restaurant on the pavilion. It also leads through to Jesmond Dene Park.

One of the bigger parks in Newcastle (excluding the Moors). Heaton Park joins up with Jesmond Dene and Paddy Freeman's Park. It is close to Heaton, an area with lots of cafes, second hand shops, etc.
