Great for a stroll or bicycle ride around the lake. There is a regular "parkrun" here every Saturday at 8:00am - this is an organised 5 km run - you against the clock. (See parkrun.com.au/coburg/ for more info.)

Coburg Lake is a huge gorgeous park area! Walk around, have a BBQ, let the kids run on the play equipment, and if you're feeling energetic take a walk along the Merri Creek Trail. This trail winds along the creek towards North Fitzroy. It's a perfect little getaway into nature!
