Questo luogo ubicato nel centro storico di Cefalù è un sito totalmente gratuito. Durante i secoli passati le donne , non avendo l'acqua corrente a casa, erano solite andare in questo posto per lavare gli indumenti sporchi familiari. Tutto ciò era possibile grazie al fiume Cefalino, un fumiciattolo caratteristico.
