Beautiful desert reserve showcasing the incredible and indigenous Joshua trees of the valley. Great place to take a walk on a nice sunny day.

Very serene walking paths. Safe. Usually pretty empty. The building on site is made eco friendly - they used hay bales. It's usually not open though. Not sure why. It has an andy gump toilet on one of the paths but that's about it. Sheriff locks the gate at sundown, unless it's the summer - then it's locked at 10:30 pm. Snakes come out at night here in the desert.
