The township of Rainbow Beach is on the northern side of Double Island Point headland. You can drive through the Leisha Track and along the beach or take the Freshwater Track through the bush. CAUTION: Mudlo Rocks on the beach just south of Rainbow are often impassable except at very low tide. Seek local advice.

A 45 minute drive to Rainbow Beach. Home to beautiful beaches, the ‘Coloured Sands, and Carlo Sandblow’. Inskip point is just up the road where you can take the barge over to Fraser Island.
