Aussie Ark is an organization dedicated to preserving the Tasmanian Devil from extinction, along with rewilding brush-tailed wallabies, a koala sanctuary and the Manning River Turtle project. Situated in the isolated high country of the Tops, the center can be visited by for a "Devils in the Wild" 2.5hr tour which involves a fully escorted visit with a keeper and depending on the time of year, you may get the chance to hold a new devil joey.
