Dog friendly, but you should keep your pooch on a leash. Wildlife is abound here- I’ve seen a coyotes, deer and quail each time I come here. THIS TRAIL GETS SOGGY IF THERE HAS BEEN RAIN. I do not recommend this hike after rain if you don’t have the right gear. You can take the loop, there a benches along the trail. Please be kind when parking, this is a very ‘locals only’ spot that not a lot of out-of-towners tend to frequent. Kind of a “if you know, you know” type trail. Great am walk with your coffee or tea in the quiet of the forest.
