A beautiful park to explore with a butterfly house and play park

A short drive from the property. Nice park, perfect for a picnic. Also has a great playground for kids. There’s a simple cafe on the grounds. Preston park museum is worthwhile going in - lots of Interesting things to see. There’s also a butterfly world on site but it’s a separate cost to the museum.

My family and our dogs have been here many times. Lovely place to spend the whole day with a picnic.

Stroll in Quarry Wood Nature Reserve or along the banks of the Tees. Wander around the Victorian walled kitchen garden or or enjoy the thrills of the amazing skatepark and play area. There’s something for everyone to explore. A short bike ride away on cycle paths.
