Everything in this bakery is delicious! The goods are all homemade and priced so reasonably. We love Slice O Life!

A Palisade institution! I've known Mary, the baker who is there every day they're open, as long as I can remember. Amazing baked goods, amazing prices and a charming little space. They now offer coffee and some other drinks. When they have the ice cream sandwiches be sure to get one! And if you have…

Slice of Life Bakery is a delightful place -- it looks just like a Norman Rockwell painting. Wonderful pastries, sandwiches, breads and coffee. A must visit!

“A mid-size local grocery with all your basics and a deli. Larger stores in nearby Grand Junction. Hours are 8a-8p (or maybe 9 in the warm months). They just opened a deli, which is nice for packing winery picnics.”

“Nearly a local institution. The founder recently sold it (in 2017). Menu has largely stayed the same, but said they are no longer open for breakfast. I highly recommend the stromboli. Pick up a bottle of nice red at Colterris and a stromboli, head back to the cottage and enjoy great grub with amazing views! Sandwiches and salads, too. Reliable staple for quick meals.”
