Tips from locals
This is my favorite place for ice skating in the winter time. It is free if you bring your own skates and $6 to rent. Most parts in Minneapolis have free ice skating and rentals, but I just think this place is the prettiest/most romantic.
Nice quiet city oasis, with mini golf, paddle boats and outdoor concers/movies (summer) and great ice skating/warming house in the winter, skate rental on site.
Walking, free concerts & movies at the bandshell in the summer, ice skating in the winter, paddleboats, mini-golf
Great place for skating at night or during the day, restaurants, shopping and great place to walk around!

“Fun for the kids as this park has a wading pool and lots of equipment to play on. You will also find a soccer field and basket ball courts here. ”

“The pulled smoked pork and chicken are very good, both smoky and firm and not soupy and Crock-Pot-evoking the way they are at lesser spots. The potato chips are handmade and served warm in paper bags, the way they probably are in heaven.”
