I LOVE this beach. Huge, never feels crowded, nice sandy beaches, gorgeous surroundings and you can access it via public transport, by bike*, or by driving. *I consider 40km a really nice bike ride.

This is a great beach if you're simply looking to play in the sand... Not good for swimming. For swimming, check my other recommendation - Britannia Beach.

Less than 7 minutes to this river sandy beach. Great destination in summer and springtime. There's both paid and free parking (go early to get the free spots!).
