Grade one enlisted building, an Arts & Crafts Masterpiece of National significance. Unique in England in drawing its pre- raphaelite inspiration from Byzantine and Celtic models. Wealth of decoration creating a fascinating work of art. Free entry.

A stunning chapel near the Watts Gallery. It is surrounded by the cemetery where Aldous Huxley (the author of 'Brave New World' and 'The Doors of Perception') is buried. The mortuary chapel was designed and built by Mary Watts, wife of the great Victorian artist G.F. Watts. The Grade I listed Chapel is a unique fusion of art nouveau, Celtic, Romanesque, and Egyptian influence with Mary's own original style. The Chapel is managed by Watts Gallery, located just up the road, and is open to the public daily.
