Easy, quiet, out-and-back walk along the northwest shore of Lake Cushman. Park at the trailhead and head past the gate along the dirt road for about a mile. The trail continues on once the road ends. The first two miles are through private property so please be respectful of locals. Trail continues on for 3.5 miles before reaching a ridge. Can have washouts. Low traffic and dog friendly. National Forest Pass required. GM2H+PF Hoodsport, Washington

Relatively flat hike starts behind cabins and ends up along the lake shoreline. Stick with it long enough to get to the tiny cool waterfall right across the trail. So beautiful!
