This amazing nature center and conservation preserve offers so much for everyone! Extensive hiking trails, a children's Discovery trail with storybook page stations, indoor children's play area with some animals on view and an indoor/outdoor beehive on display. Indoor and outdoor viewing areas for hawk and bird watching. Full-time naturalist on staff. Gift shop and self-service Cafe area. art exhibits. Paved and gravel trails for enjoyment of all levels of mobility. Party barn which can be rented for private events. Programs for adults & children throughout the year including summer camp. beautiful naturalist outdoor playground for the children. Great place to go learn about birds, and migration of birds throughout the year. annual Fall festival.

This is a favorite place for walks right up our road. Turn left out of the drive. You'll get to a stop sign with a church on your left, Audubon Center is across the road. The trails, including an ADA compliant one, are open during the pandemic. There is a nature playtrail for kids behind the main building, a trail that leads to a lake you can hike around, and also a small pond to sit by closer to the main building. The main building is closed, however.

Just 15 min away, Audubon Center has a great natural center and garden trail. A great place for birds watching, to relax and have a romantic walk under the autumn sun.
