Cute town, also known as the Dutch " Venice". A little far from Amsterdam but worth the visit!

Giethoorn, located in National Park Weerribben-Wieden, is an idyllic village in Overijssel where countless thatched farms have been built on small peat islands connected by over 170 small wooden bridges. It is called small Venice, a very romantic village and you have to see it!

If you stay in our guest house, you must not miss the world famous Giethoorn with the small canals, bridges and thatched roof houses. In the village there are no roads. You can park your car outside the village at many car parks (paid) and the walk in 5 minutes to the village, take a terrace or rent a boat.
