This small park is 5km to the west of Kinsol Trestle. The last section of the road to the park is a well-maintained wide gravel and dirt road. The best features of this place are the peace and the cool shade of the trees. The water is cold but some people enjoy swimming in the river. There is a trail on the north side of the river to Kinsol Trestle.

River access off the beaten path. This is a 5 minute drive (3.1km) from the cottage, mostly on gravel logging road. Favorite spot to take a cold dip in the river on extra hot days. Various paths and steep stairs down to river. Often less busy than the lake.
