In Amalfi you can enjoy beautiful walks along the characteristic alleys and visit the famous Duomo. A trip to the city from which the Amalfi Coast takes its name, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. Let's try to understand what you can do. Well, the first thing is to let yourself be taken by the magic of the alleys of Amalfi: here among the many shops you can also taste the fried fish cuoppo. It also takes a stroll on the characteristic promenade, from here you can reach the port and admire Amalfi from its tip.

The Amalfi coast is an area of great physical beauty and natural diversity. It has been intensively settled by human communities since the early Middle Ages. There are a number of towns such as Amalfi and Ravello with architectural and artistic works of great significance. The rural areas show the versatility of the inhabitants in adapting their use of the land to the diverse nature of the terrain, which ranges from terraced vineyards and orchards on the lower slopes to wide upland pastures.

Another beautiful and well-known town on Amalfi Coast where you can spend your day is called Amalfi. It is located 13 kilometers (8 miles) south of Praiano and is also reachable by bus. Amalfi is famous for its narrow streets where you can easily get lost. Also, there is a magnificent cathedral from the 13th century that symbolizes the town.

Amalfi is a graceful place: its cluster of white buildings gleams like a pearl in the strand of towns strung along the Amalfi Coast. It's also one of the more level; it ambles up the hillside from the water rather than clinging vertically to it like some of the other famous destinations here, making it a bit easier to walk around.
