Recommended for photography enthusiasts and those who enjoy a scenic hike. Wear comfortable shoes and check the weather forecast. Follow the first section of the Cape Woolamai Coastal Walk. Best to visit during low tide and be wary of freak waves when near the ocean.

Park at Woolamai Beach car park then head on to the beach, turn left and walk along the beach then climb the next set of stairs to the cliff top trail. It’s approx a 20 minute walk to the Pinnacles lookout and you can reach them at low tide if you want to descend again.

Culmination point of a 4-km. hike on Phillip Island with sea views & dramatic rock formations. Great lookout can see the beaches all the way back to Pyramid Rock. Rock formations are interesting so are the small cliffs along the beach walk to the steps. Takes about an hour return walk from the car park but add in at least half an hour for photos and soaking up the views.

Hike out to this lovely spot for an amazing view of the waves crashing against the pink granite cliffs of Cape Woolamai.
