Take the shuttle from MacMillan Wharf, or walk across the West End breakwater (quite a hike) to this wild beach in the very center of the bay.

For the adventurous: It's a bit of a hike getting out here (1 -1.5hrs), you definitely want to wear proper shoes to hike the breakwater. Or take the Long Point Shuttle for $10-$15. A nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Seal sightings common. There's a lighthouse out there too. Keep an eye on the tides. No bathroom facilities. Pack water and snacks.

Isolated beach. Take hourly water taxi to and from Long Point. Enjoy the beach at the very very tippety tip top of Cape Cod.

TAKE THE FLYER'S FERRY TO LONG POINT FOR THE DAY. PACK A PICNIC, BRING BEVERAGES, AND SUNLOTION. YOU CAN RENT UMBRELLAS AND BEACH CHAIRS FROM FLYERS. WHY SCHLEP IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO!
