Playa del Matorral and Playa Jandia - Pajara The beach at Morro Jable is about 4 km long with pale golden sand. The area north of the lighthouse is wider and home to the Jandía salt marsh. There are fewer bathers in this part of the beach, and nudism is allowed in this stretch of sand. Dimensions: 4 km long - 150 meters wide Fairly busy Amenities: Bars, Restaurants, Showers, Water Activities, Sun Loungers Ideal for: families with young children.

Lighthouse completed in 1991. This is the tallest lighthouse in the Canaries with a 59 m tower, which is higher than that of the Maspalomas Lighthouse on Gran Canaria at 56 m, and that of Pechiguera on Lanzarote at 50 m. With a focal height of 62 m above the sea, its light can be seen for 17 nautical miles, and consists of two flashes of white light every 10 seconds. It is sometimes confused with the older 19th century Punta Jandía lighthouse (Spanish: Faro de Punta Jandía) which lies 22 km away by road at the extreme western end of the Jandia peninsula.

El must de Fuerteventura. Nadie puede irse de la isla, sin visitar el faro de Jandía. Si puedes, te recomiendo bucear por la zona, es un espectáculo.

El faro de Morro Jable es un faro situado en la punta del Matorral, donde la playa del Matorral de Jandía hace una inflexión hacia el Atlántico, en el municipio de Pájara.
