Bakery
“Daily Bread has been giving locals another reason to look forward to the weekend since 2002. They're only open Friday - Sunday so make sure to stock up while there. Traci and Kevin’s bakery has a great selection of treats ranging from homemade pies and cookies to gorgeous golden croissants. Our personal favorites are their sourdough, bagels and biscotti. They even make dog biscuits - the perfect treat to take home to your pup post holiday!”

Trail
“What better way to spend your time in the Poconos than hiking a few miles of the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail! Be sure to bring your hiking shoes as the trail is somewhat rocky. This section of the AT offers beautiful verdant views and glimpses of the Delaware River. We recommend fueling your walk with a bite to eat from the nearby Deer Head Inn.”

Route
“The McDade trail offers hikers, bikers and cross country skiers 32 miles of uninterrupted trail with beautiful views of the Delaware River. There are several trailheads so you can easily customize your route to accommodate any distance. Elevation gain is minimal which allows for a pleasant, less technical walk. After your excursion, we recommend going for a bite to eat at Saen Thai Cuisine conveniently located right down the road.”
