This is a (very) small zoo right in town, but it's fun to see some of the rescued exotic animals.

It's a bit of a hike 73 miles away. But if you are an animal lover this place is great to visit and support this not-for-profit that rescues a variety of wildlife. They offer general admission and private tours. Also have events for kids.
