Tips from locals
The beach is quite long and there is always sand on it, even when the tide is in. There aren't any signs 'to the beach', so the path is near the railway station and goes under the railway line, about 12 mins walk
A generous stretch of fine golden sand backed by a seawall and promenade. As you would expect from a Blue Flag beach there are no shortage of facilities along the beachfront or in the town, which is only a few minutes walk away.
Lovely open are bar and bistro conveniently located on the beach front - award winning, clean beaches
Wide, safe swimming beach just 5 minutes drive from the property. Cycle path runs alongside. Plenty of cafes and ice cream stalls. Lovely sunsets.
